Hearing Loops: Lists (USA, Canada, and a few countries)

Overview

Last updated: 11/14/24

There are thousands of hearing loops, FM, and infrared systems across the United States. You can find them at conference centers, courthouses, funeral homes, government meetings, hotels, libraries, museums, performing arts venues, retail service counters, stadiums, tours, trains, etc. See a complete list of where assistive listening systems are required under the ADA (this website)

Below are lists of just hearing loops, because they are preferred by users. There’s no national list of FM and infrared systems, but in some cities or regions, a volunteer may maintain a local list.

Hearing loops are not just in the United States. They are installed in 30+ countries, and prolific in some countries: Australia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Japan, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Russia, Scotland, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK. Updates are done every 1-2 months-when new hearing loop locations are received. Below are the lists for:
