| Audiologists are doctoral-level healthcare providers who provide patient-centered care in the prevention, identification, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of hearing, balance, and other auditory disorders for people of all ages. Those certified to work in clinical situations with patients, will have a title of “Certified Clinical Competence Audiologist (CCCA) after their names. An audiologist is licensed by the state.
